You will write a four paragraph essay in based on the Toni Morrison's book, Remember: Journey to School Integration and create your own photo essay.
Please utilize the structure below to complete your essay. Before you begin writing, you must read the story in full!
- Paragraph One
- What i s the book about?
- (ex. Toni Morrison's photo narrative, "Remember: Journey to School Integration," describes how schools handled segregation and integration during the Civil Rights Movement. All of this is captured through pictures and narration because it is a photo essay.
- Remember to include author, title, and genre (photo narrative)
- Remember to explain or define any unfamiliar words (photo narrative)

- PICK TWO pictures that you felt were moving.
- Which pictures are your favorite and why?
- What story does it tell?
- Of what historical event are you reminded?
